Wow Murray, you gave me a headache readin that. From what I gather your dimmer switch is bad and you need to replace it.

The headlight light in the speedo don't work?  ???

I have a similar problem the blue light that tells ya when your high beams are on just quit one day. that same day i lost my guage lights but the light behind the heater/ac consule works. also when i turn my park lights or headlights on my fuel guage, water temp and oil pressure guage lose ground and as soon as i turn lights off the ground returns. Im stumped had the whole dash ripped apart today and everything connected right. it just went all wacko one day thanks marc ???

Your high beam indicator is probably just the bulb or socket connection. Pull the cluster to check. I just pulled a cluster today and every single bulb was out.

Yes the bulbs are the same. The switch is just bolted on.

As far as bad grammar, before you post click the spell check tab first, that should help.
