which winch??

I am wondering what u huys have for winches and why made you get said winch or u know of someone and do they like the winch. I am looking at either Mile Marker or Ramsey. Warn are nice but pricey yet they do have a limited lifetime warranty.

I had a warn winch and beat it bad. It never failed me.

I have a Superwinch S-9000 on my car trailer. I've never used it a 4 wheeling situation (stuck in mud) but as far as pulling power it works great. It will drag one of our trucks onto the trailer with 4 flat tires, tranny in park,locked up brakes, it doesn't matter,this winch will do it everytime.

I've had two Warns: an old-school 8074 and an xd9000. Both work awesome.

My only advice is to stay away from bargain winches. They look great on the surface but will fail you when you need them most.

go with a warn or mile marker and use the rule of thumb if your truck weighs 4000 pounds get one rated at 8000 or more if you want just dubble the weight of your vehicle
