78 to 86 Engine Swap (350)

The bottom end is coming apart in my 78. I found a 1986 350 with 55k miles on it for a good price. Will this be a bolt in swap? Trans is the original TH400.

As long as the 86 is an auto trans too. If not you will need a flex plate for it. The 78 is a two piece rear main seal. The 86 is a one piece rear main seal.
