1981 chevy c-30 Hitch

I am looking for a hitch for my dually and everywhere I call says 200 and up is there anywhere you guys know of to get one or will something else work on my truck?

Sorry didnt classify but a reese hitch for pulling a trailer not 5th wheel

Alright. your probably best to go for the one Vile pointed out. I got lucky and i bought a parts truck with both a reese and fifth wheel set up.

Yea I just didnt know if one under a 1/2 ton would work or is the frame wider

Try the pull-n-pay. Remove four rusty bolts and its YOURS!

I found one for $15.

+1 :) the one I found had 6 rusty bolts for $20.

Frame is the same width on your truck. Whats the GVW of your trailer? You need a hitch that exceeds that! Personally I would have one built like a medium / heavy truck has. For a 1 ton ,flat 3/8" or 1/2" plate with a Reese receiver through it, Brace off the back of that back into the frame, angle gussets at both ends, and some D rings for the chains.

Its a boat that im going to be puling it prop ways 7000 lbs and the trailer weighs 900 lbs and its a class 5 reese hitch I just got to put it up there and see if it will work and it says its rated for 10,000lbs so should be fine right?
