TODAY is a Great Day to visit our Store and order the parts you need for your truck ! ! !
Caution: Make sure your engine is turned off before working on (fan) belts! The truck kicked a fan belt today and I went to get another one. When I got back I read the back of the little card the belt comes in and the first thing printed on it was the warning above with the (! inside a triangle) symbol. That made me laugh...... hard. What dumb warning messages have you seen that are useless to average people and only help out the most lame of society?I mean, really who has ever looked at a running engine ignorantly and decided the only way to change a fan belt was to somehow do it while it's running, even though you can turn the engine off with no ill effects whatsoever and do it safely? somebody has to have done it and it got back to the company, or there wouldn't likely be a warning about it. This ought to be a good thread...lol
I informed the motor man who is supposed to know how to do the maintenance on it,who then stormed off in a fury.
I bought a spray nozzle for the garden hose the other day and it said : DO NOT SPRAY INTO ELECTRICAL OUTLETS....

I have replaced several generators over the years that were washed with a pressure washer while it was running.
one of my favorites is the "Caution, hot" on coffee cups. Same thing... someone sued that their coffee was too hot...hmmm and also the lady who sued Mcdonalds for "making" her fat. So thats why mcdonalds sells salads and good for you stuff....hmmm
