Filling side marker lights
« on: July 12, 2009, 03:35:45 am »
Hey,
Anybody have pictures of a truck with the front side marker lights filled in? I am considering this on my 81' C10 stepside.
I was thinkin' about just welding them closed. Thanks!

you do know you need them "legally" or some sort of marker light

Weld it in and cut a bowtie. I always liked that look.

Yeah , the bowtie's in the body look really cool. In the tailgate in particular when you modify the handle to the inside and put the light on the back. Never seen it on the front fenders, but it must look really good.  ;)
Never give up.

The bowtie isn't my cup of tea either but it does allow you to add a "custom" touch and still be legal.

That was a cool picture, man! Yeah, I don't need them legally while I'm here in Texas unless the truck was 80" wide or more.
Thanks!
