Well lets see so many choices. I would have to have a 91 one ton crewcab big block auto Silverado black charcol gray int. with a matching k5 blazer color not a ton cause i now that wasn't an option and an 85 1/2 ton 4x4 for a toy to play with, Oh wait I have that one. 2) Anything with quad rectangular headlights

3) The top interior (and exterior?) trim level whatever that was.

1st: 1987 K-30 (V-3500) Regular cab/long bed, 1-ton, SRW, 4x4, 454, 4speed, 4.10 axle, Light blue metallic, Silverado with all the bells, and whistles....And cab lights.

2nd: 1991 V-1500 Blazer, Silverado, 350TBI, 3.73 axle with 4-speed manual transmission.

A 1980 GMC street coupe C15 fleetside. Would want a 400 or 454 with automatic trans. .373 posi rear, aluminum wheels, cloth seat,
A/C, P/S, cruise, Manual windows & locks, factory tach, tilt column, sliding rear window. Not sure about the color, probably the dark red or maroon combination.

Another choice would be an 80 K15 long fleet with most of the same options. Not sure what trim level.

To be honest, I'd be happy to have any reg cab fleetside that wasn't RUSTY

If I could go back in time I'd take a:
87 GMC shortbed stepside 4x4
350 TBI/700R4/3.73's
Loaded with the High Sierra trim package.

Down the road as parts wore out I would replace the 700R4 with a turbo 350 and when I blew up the 10 bolt I would add 3/4 ton axles.
Add a 4" lift and some 33"x12.50R16.5 BF goodrich all terrains on some American racing slotted rims and I would have my dream truck.

I wonder how many of us would have held on to our fantasy trucks or would we have been to young and beat them to death? I was.
I had an 88 Jimmy back in 91. Blew up the 10 bolt 2 times, had the 700R4 rebuilt 3 times,bent the front axle tube and tweaked the frame jumping it,cracked the rear frame at the shock mount,the list goes on. GM painted it under warranty in 92 so I sold sold it for good $$ and bought a 79 jimmy. The 79 had a 350/350/part time 203/and 10 bolt-14 bolt FF with 4.10's.

That black and gold Gentleman Jim. I may paint my rims gold like that. I may paint my truck like that. Although I would have to install a few upgrades that the truck, being a 70's model, would have never have come with. Like power windows and locks and window tint and all the good stuff.
