I want a grille like this, any ideas?

Just caught Dazed and Confused this weekend on the TV, saw the grille on the 76' GMC they used. anyone know anywhere to get one like it?  ;D

It'll be hard to find a clean or NOS grille like that, you'd probably have to get an aftermarket one.

We sell aftermarket Grilles.  Problem is there isn't any GMC aftermarket being produced.

i ,too, am bummed in that i've always felt GMC trim/styling was (was is the key word) better than chevy.   (not so much currently as both stink in the styling dept.)

But gmc stuff just isn't as popular as chevy.

You might try J.C. Whitney as they may have a cheap knockoff.

Thanks Gordon!  ;D can't wait for this grille! I knew someone on here could help me out, just had to get a good picture. Was looking through
http://www.73-87.com. A lot of the special editions from GMC had this grille on it from 76 to 79. I wonder why no one reproduces it today. So glad to get one though! Thanks again!

Stewart - I'll be replacing the GMC with a bowtie once I clean up the grille I'm buying from got2haul. Just wish I didn't have to, can't figure out why GMC got all the good looks.

So, where did you end up getting the grill?


2) GMC AND pontiac, and for that matter ALL the other gm divisions (with the possible exception of cadillac) ALL had better styling than chevy, even though i'm a chevy person first.
