th350 to 700r4 shift indicator swap
« on: August 18, 2009, 07:39:16 pm »
Im starting to put the cluster back in but the clip on the column is different from the clip for the 700r4 indicator.
Do I need the old style clip and wire and attach it to the pointer for the 700r4 indicator or what?
I was hoping to get the bezel back on and put the radio in and drive it some but ran into this problem

If so, the joker I bought the truck from clipped the cable off at the clip and took the th350 indicator out.

Is this what you have?  The bigger clip? You can swap them out. It shouldn't cause any problems.

I saw two of em on there just last night. The clips were both small tho.. I used to have an extra around here somewhere. I'll go look for it and let you know.

Aha.I have a big clip and a small one.(with wire) No indicator for an overdrive tho. Just two indicators for 3 speed.
Send me a pm with your mailing address and I'll send it to you.
