The basics:

Year: 1982
Model: K5 Blazer
Engine: 305
Tranny: 700R4
Rear: 308's
Wheels & tires:
  Rear: 295/50's on 15x8 rally
  Front: 265/50's on 15x7 rally

Updates: mid 90's suburban seats & console
Suspension:
  Front - 1/2 coil cut off front
  Rear - 1 leaf removed (not such a good idea, too bouncy)

Cool! Except for being a Blazer, that is identical to my first ever vehicle, an 81 2wd Jimmy. Same colors!
85 Chevy Silverado C10 short, wide, yellow, 2wd. Lowered, 60-over 350 with Dart Iron Eagle heads and Comp Cams XE268 cam, TH350 w/ shift kit, 3.40 Gov-lok 12 bolt.

That is a nice blazer. There are quite a few in this area, but not as common as the 4x4s

Hard to find? There was just a 1978 2wd blazer for sale 11 miles away from me.  I have NO use for a 2wd though.  That's like buying a pair of boots without steel toe, when you can just get steel toe.
