my headliner is fiberboard? Its really weak looking and yellowish on the back, the old headliner material was in bad shape but the actually headliner backing board is in pretty good shape.
so as far as the headliner goes I plan on getting headliner cloth with a foam back to it, putting it on the backing board, then putting the suede on the newly recovered headliner. Like I said I like the feel of the foam behind the headliner
I have a friend who sews I have thought about leather for the dash too. I really want the interior of this truck to be super nice.
As far as door panels go stock for now dyed to match but yes Cap the hot rod door panels are one my list.
I would imagine the dash will be one of the last things I tackle as I think it will be the hardest.
I am not worried about how hard things are to do. If I can manage to only screw it up enough so it costs me the same as having a shop do it, then its worth it to me to learn how to do something new.
