TH350 Transmission Pan
« on: October 15, 2009, 10:01:34 am »
I have a '76 GMC 350/TH350. Got a transmission leak at the corner. I have bought 3 gaskets, silicon, and bolts, none of these stopped the leak. I think the pan is bent.

Is it better to buy a transmission pan or buy a transmission pan? Thanks!!

Have you looked at the pan when it was off and did the corner appear to be damaged? Is it always leaking from that only corner? Is the transmission surface flush with no damage?

Def buy a trans pan! lol I'd get one of those 1" deeper ones

All normal practicality and rational money handling goes out of the window when it comes to my truck.

Is it wet anywhere above the pan?
