What did you use to clean all this stuff like the frame and such only the wire brush/wheel? or some sand paper or what?

what kinds of primer did you use? only spray cans or spray gun stuff, self etch? epoxy? reg.?

Alot of paint spray cans or spray gun?

what was the quicksteel used for? how's that stuff work and hold up? had a guy tell me about using it on my missing piece of my transmission case.

I'm sorry for delaying because of my money is ran out for 2 weeks that I have been over paid for many good used parts on her..........

Yesterday my Father took me to Pick-A-Part in Southeast Houston, TX and I found some rare excellent used parts, will post pics when I have time 'cause I'm getting old, dead tiring and very busy to do often, needs more rest!

That's OK, I used elc. wire brush with stronger drill to sanded down bare metal then I spraying on the frame with Rust Tough brown primer (spray cans but thick enough  ), sanded and painted with engine enamel plus rust protection on the frame. I dunno the name of sand papers, I only feel on different sand papers with my fingers and picked ones I can do good job on her. I painted Bahama Blue Metallic on the firewall because of my old neighbor friend made me waited too long time till Spring comes out and take my Truck to his friend's private Paint Shop, I don't have time for that. That's doesn't matter how cold weather outside is, I've seen most painter did painting the vehicles inside of the paint shop (in the winter season) with the heaters and lights to keep the vehicle warm then painting but he is very lazy fat beer drinker, lol.

I used this quicksteel putty that works great to bonds very stronger on the heavy iron metals with cracked and holes parts on the engine block, body panel, alum, wood and more, I highly recommended it. Because my old friend never have time to welding on some replaced panels....... Last week he welded around the tailgate posts (bed) for me 'cause I cutted old weld off and took all bed body parts off and sanded, primed and painted on the edges. (that had few hidden rust holes) then I put all the bed parts back together to bolts on.

wow alot of work with the wire brush, I just did the back half of my frame, all the suspension in back and the bottom of the bed on my 88, it was alot of work, I can only imagine all the work with a drill wire brush.

everything turned out good though love the progress.
