Striaght axle conversion (non 4wd)
« on: November 08, 2009, 08:05:27 am »
I have a 77 c/10 with a 4bt Cummins diesel in it. I would like to convert the front suspension over to straight tube type axle. Looking for advise.
Thanks
Chuck

No advise to give however sure would like to see pics of that conversion.  I have been considering that myself and have located a dealer of used breadtrucks with the 4bt. in them.

You are better off finding an old 4x in the jy and using that frame. Will save you a lot of hassle.
