Jeep enthusiast who has seen the light...

Well, as the title indicates my main interest has been in the Jeep brand name. Not the Chrysler-era stuff, but earlier AMC, Kaiser, and Willys jeeps. In actuality my new Chevy was going to be a drivetrain donor for my 75 Cherokee (now an abandoned project). I realized that the 78 k30 crew cab dually was in better shape and would take less work to get going with the 6.2 diesel I have sitting in my shop. My plans now include a set of military hummer rims and 37s, the 6.2 diesel, a modified m105 (military trailer) bed, and some miscellaneous CUCV parts (I wonder how I'll paint it
).
Anyhow, hello from the high desert of Southern California!

All normal practicality and rational money handling goes out of the window when it comes to my truck.

I am new here as well but I also am a lover of the Jeep name brand, especially the FSJs like your 75 Cherokee. I have owned many of them as well as many 73-87 Chevys. Here are a couple pics for a fellow Jeep/Chevy lover.
