Suspension Help
« on: December 13, 2009, 07:03:06 pm »
Ok, I have a 5" rear flip with c-notch and the front is bagged
with sectioned LCA's giving me around 2" of extra drop? Right
now the truck sits like this pic below. I want to remove bags
and run springs up front. (Static drop on all four corners) Do
you think by just putting in 3" drop springs up front that it's
going to look close to this pic now? (Or will that not work?)

Hard to say without measurements. Springs and spindles should do the trick

Yeah, I was hoping with the section lower control arms (LCA's)
I could get by without adding spindles and just adding springs.

Can you take a picture of the LCAs.  With the bags, depending on how they are made or who makes them you could have anywhere from 2" to 4" or more of drop.

Based on the pictures, it looks like close to 5".

Those look like ART Bags, if so, 3" springs are going to put you close.  That looks like how I modded some in the past when spindles weren't available.
