My weekend
« on: December 28, 2009, 02:10:19 am »
Well spent an hour Sat. evening, and about an hour or so Sun. morning swapping the 208 in my yellow truck. Had it on the road for a week and it started making some loud not so good noises. Drained the oil it looked like metallic paint!
Noticed the frame broken on both sides behind the rear fuel tank bracket on the 1 ton last week. RH side was completely broken through. So I tore into that all day today. I have the frame stitched back together. Tomorrow I will replace the top and bottom sections I cut out, and plate the whole thing. One of those temporary / permanant repairs. Going to build a new 1 ton this summer out of the three I have.

Oh yeah. If it weren't for rust I would never have made my first million! ;D
