89 bench into my 86 without too much trouble?
« on: December 28, 2009, 11:57:50 pm »
Looks like I can get the rails and brackets from the 89. Much work to get this to bolt in? This should hold me over till I upgrade the interior.

Right now my current bench is SHOT. (also driver side cushioning is horrible due to a large original owner)

Cheers,

There is a whole thread on this, but you are going to have to make it work, and the 88-up bench seats are narrower than the 73-87's

I searched on bench, bench seat, seat, benchseat and couldn't find anything worthwhile.

That said, maybe I'll just look for a good bench from my generation truck.

Yeah, scratch that idea. I almost got to use a booster seat the cushion/spring is so worn on the driver's side! lol
