Lock that rear/mini spool?

Hi, wondering what your experience is using a spool {locked like the old days of welding the spyder gears together]  in a shortbed  for that occasional tire roast. Some have told me they like it better than a clutch pack posi knowing that the rear is locked always, so pay attention to that fact and drive? Thanks, Tom.

If you are driving it on the street do not use a spool. Cone lsd's like auburn pro series are imo the best performers on the street. they're smooth and strong. the downside is if you trash it there's no rebuilding it. Clutch type LSD's can be rebuilt fairly easily and inexpensively but are more prone to chatter. Running the correct friction modifier and oil usually cures this. Lockers you will know are there and I usually only recommend them for offroading.
