There should be NO VACUUM at the EGR. If the EGR sticks open because the solenoid is allowing vacuum to hold the EGR open even slightly you will set multiple eroneous DTC's. If you unplug the vacuum hose to the EGR and your problem goes away replace the solenoid. If the EGR itself is sticking open replace the valve.
Plugged in my vac line and unplugged the solenoid electrical connector. Well, my favorite light came on, but she ran GOOD! Anyways
