trans mount bracket ?
« on: January 09, 2010, 10:01:00 am »
this is off a 76 gmc 2 wheel drive , short bed .
I'm going to call this a bracket but I'm not sure what it is mine has been cut on..
as you can see in the photo there is a bracket on top of the trans mount .
can any one tell me what this bracket is for ?
on the right side of my bracket it has been cut with a torch.
if any one has a photo of one please post.
thanks for any help.

hope this helps ,
not the crossmember not the trans mount , not the heat sheild brace,
the part i'm talking about is on top of the trans mount , it is not part of the trans mount.
