Turbo 350

I have a Turbo 350 transmission with T/Q I know the transmission is no good. Has nothing in any gear. Has been in the storage shed for about 3 rears. What would be a fair price to sell this for?

If the tranny is no good neither is the converter. It's probably worth more in scrap metal unless someone needs a core. Try putting it on CL for $100 bucks.

~150-200 can rebuild it... in parts

some time nice to have a spare...

yea i can have it build for  $280 that shop built my last one and it was good . but i am gonna run different set up just dont need it anymore.

IMO, core or scrap.  I've got my old one waiting for me to take a shot at rebuilding it.

Well said, personally I've had great luck with turbo 350's. The one in my camaro has outlasted a few motors and still going strong.
Like Vile said, put it on CL for $100. Someone can buy it and have a shop rebuild it for cheap money.

Without too much modification by someone who knows what they are doing, ( Kenny Bell, B&M, Transgo), they will easily and reliably handle 700+ horsepower.  I am not trying to by a wiseguy, but they are an excellent transmission.  Any of those transmissions that date back to the 60s are tough trannys if the oil is changed at reasonable intervals and an external cooler is used.
A common problem is that drivers hauling heavy loads at low engine rpm, don't realise that when the torque converter is slipping heat builds up rapidly.  At high heat, the transmission fluid breaks down much more rapidly.

I think everyone knows you can beef up a TH350 but a broken one isn't worth much and it's not exactly a highly sought after trans anymore. Planetary based torque converter transmissions are old technology (starting in 1938!) ... you should see some of the drivetrains I get to see and play with. I can't wait to scrap the TH400 in my 74
