My new 86 K20
« on: February 01, 2010, 06:05:57 pm »
These are some pics I took the day after I bought it (about a week ago). I installed a toolbox with lights on it, will take more pics if it ever stops raining here. lol.

Plenty of mods planned: Front shackles, rear shackle reversal. 36" super swampers. More offroad worthy bumpers and a winch, among other things.

Is that a 350/350? Looks sharp!

All normal practicality and rational money handling goes out of the window when it comes to my truck.

350/400/208, Corp 10 bolt in the front, Semi-floating 14 bolt in the rear (456 gears). The engine has a mild cam, Edelbrock carb & intake, headers. 7" inches of lift, 4" susp, 3" body. It needs bigger tires for sure.

It actually rides pretty well. It's much smoother than I thought it would be. I haven't had it offroad yet, but possibly this weekend. :)

Thank for the compliments! I'm enjoying it so far. Even though there is a lot of work to be done on it. :)
