Junk or gold?

So my buddys got a 73 4x4 1 ton,and I want it.The only problem is its beat up really bad body wise.I want to do a 4 wheel drive,and it is my lucky #(73).I can get it for next to nothin,so should I get it?

If you want a 4x4 and its cheap then i say go for it... They say its like a lays potato chip you cant have just 1..  ::)

you might want to think about the ratio of it a 1 ton might have some high numbers might not be good for a dd

go for it! If thats what you want to do, then do it. I wouldnt worry about the gear ratios, that can easily be overcome by larger tires, which you were probably thinking anyway. This way you dont have to worry about changing the gears when you put the larger tires on.

well I pretty much got the truck.just helping my buddy get his 75 Chevy going and 250 bucks,and its mine.I'm excited ;D

I got to drive it yesterday and tear up my buddy's field it was a good time and I'm glad I got it.heres a pix.maybe it could be up for beaters in next years calender  ;)
