Power steering reservoir leak
« on: February 16, 2010, 12:00:03 pm »
I recently had a split in my pressure line and thought I had fixed the problem.  It seems that the reservoir on the pump is leaking on the seam where it is rolled and pressed (looks that way to me).  I checked around and only found the pump without the reservoir.  Can you buy just the reservoir or do I need to look at the salvage yard?

Thanks,
Levis

You can buy the pump with reservoir.

I was thinking about getting the reservoir and getting a pump seal kit and that would solve my problem?

Why not just buy the pump with reservoir? All you have to do is swap the pulley.  ???

I guess the costs is not that bad.  I was thinking it would be cheaper the other way.  Oh well.  I guess that is what I will do.
