what is a cheap tire i can get?

I have American outlaw II,s 15x10 rear rims for my 2wd truck and i don't know what is a cheap tire to get for it. it had 275/50/15 on it I'm pretty sure. BFG made them and they are now discontinued. what would be a good size tire to put on that size rim for a 2wd truck?

I have 275 60 15 BFG's (available everywhere) on the rear of my 67 lowered 5" and they look great. They're mounted on 8's but would look even better on 10's... cheap too.
I can post a pick if you wnat but they will look different on 10's.

The cost should be around $90. Just do a google search. Remember you'll have to add shipping. What I did about a year ago was take my online quote to a local shop and they matched the price, got the tires the next day and installed for $95.

Keep in mind the tire will look different on a 10. Better IMO. Not a great pic... tight shop and on my laptop right now without access to my old pics.

I just put a set of Hankook A/S tires on my '86, but I'm considering a pair of Yoko geolanders for
the rear. Never owned 'em before, but I've heard good things about 'em, and they're a lot cheaper than
comparable BFGs.

My brother has the geolanders. Stiffer tire... he likes em better. I like a softer ride. Can't speak to mileage. A matter of preference for us at this point.

I liked the Way they sat on the truck it comes right to the lip of the wheel well. So thats why I wanna keep it a wide tire. I think I'm goin to Price it out on line then go to a tire shop and show them what I can get it for. I'll see what they do for me. Thanks alot for the info.

The width of the tire (275) will be the same. The 60 series aspect ratio will result in a tire slightly taller. I think you'll like it.

If you would like to see a better pic of my 67 from the side, I'll get one tomorrow. It's lowered 5".

Sorry it rained all weekend and couldn't pull my truck out of the shop. However, I did find a pic of a 72 with 275 60 15 on 10"s.

This should give you the best idea... at least from the side. I didn't have anything from the back but keep in mind 275 is the width so thre won't be any difference in width. The 60 series aspect ratio will make the tire taller resulting in a different look from the side.
