Well as some of you may have read in my last post, I just found my dream truck. It's a fully restored '84 K10 SWB 4x4. Well I've had it for about two weeks and the only thing I don't like about it is the bench seat. It's a nice seat, 100% perfect condition, smells new, but it's just very uncomfortable with me being about 6' tall. Now I'm not saying it's horrible, it's just not what I'd like to keep in the truck. I've been reading on here about seat swaps and brakets, and all that. Well here is my question. I found a set of really nice buckets with the flip up center console with the little jump seat underneath. Guy claims they fit '2000 and up Chevys. I can get a decent deal on them.
1.) Can I make them fit?
2.) what's the easiest way? Buy brackets? Try to attatch my '84 brakets to the seats? Or modify the floor of the truck?
3.) I'd rather not "chop" on my truck at all. If it required me to, I'd prolly just leave the bench in there and call it good.
4.) If these seats won't easily fit, then what year models will?
Any help would be greatly apprecited.
Thanks,
Trevor
