It may not adhere to bondo very wellI think it works alot better to bare metal.I used herculiner on the entire inside and underside of my cab.So you may not want to use it on the outside but i would use it on the underside..thankspat
Yes i used them on my inner fenders and the rear stepside fenders.I also used it on the underside of the cab as well as inside..thankspat
My opinion here, but Herculiner sucks! If you have to use a brush / roll on liner I would use Bondo brand. It has a catalyst. It dries because of a chemical reaction not just being exposed to air, and UV rays won't bother it so much. As far as over body filler of any brand It should have a high quality primer over the filler. Such as a high build urethane primer. Transtar has this that you can roll on, it works real good. After it drys you sand it like any spray on urethane primer. This will give the bed liner a mechanical bond.I would use SEM brand spray on liner. It can be applied with a Rocker Shutz gun, but lays out nicer with the gun SEM recommen ive used that bondo brand and the brand sucks, big time, its not textured like other roll on bed liners, and the bed i put it in was sand blasted and then scuffed real well, and it still didnt stick, i wouldnt use that stuff on anything ever again, ive used herculiner on the underside of my 83 c-10 cab and it turned out great, i would recomend it to anyone who was looking for a good roll on product and its good for more than just a bed liner
