 There's a site called spokeo.com and it's an online phone book that has a picture of your house, credit score, profession, age, how many people live in the house. Remove yourself by the Privacy button on the bottom right. (passing along) I personally checked it out and it is really there!! CUT PASTE ......AND FORWARD /  REPOST!! ( this is creepy..also check your maiden names!!! )
I wasn't on there, but several I know are, including my elderly mother!!!

i agree, it's scary what's out there.  Something I tried on that site is enter many of my friends and i found out something.  My friends who don't do much on the internet cannot be found.  Those who have websites, or, do a lot of certain transactions or sign up for sites with passwords and such has more of their correct info on the site.  Interesting.  My dad or brother, neither of whom have a computer, are not listed.

Yes I found the same results. If you read farther into it it implies that the more you are computer active you are the better the chances of finding your info.

I agree, the definately want more info. Most of that info is in the local telephone book. On mine, the number is wrong, I also live in a million dollar home ( which is for sale for 3/4s of that now,lol) and apparently have another dependant that I can right off. The gave the previous owner, who is deceased and has been for 3 years, my last name and shows she live here. So, I should be able to get a tax deduction for supporting her ghost,LOL
