What you need to do is get rid of their food source.  They eat grubs, so get you some GrubX made by Scotts.  My neighbor did and now it's in my yard...

From what I've read gophers don't eat grubs. Moles do. Another idea that I read is to stick a flare down into the tunnel. Apparently the sulfur smell keeps them away.

This guys seems to have a pretty good product. He seems to know what he's talking about and the website is very informative. I like the idea of using an actual trap so you know whether or not you really got it (or probably them in my case).

why not just buy a cheap 10-22 and plink away at them?

i cant think when was the last time i seen a mole or gopher. beside when a cat got one and left them at the door

I have never seen the movie... but your not the first person to to mention it to me. I'm just waiting for my traps to come in. Hopefully I'll be posting a success story in a couple days.

Good luck with your mission, all the same...If you have a nice lawn and work hard to keep it that way, then by all means them rodents gotta go! I have also had great luck with garden hoses in as many holes as I could find...Sometimes I've even been really lucky and just stomped on one of the critters when they were pushing dirt out of their hole!
