« on: April 28, 2010, 11:09:26 am »
im looking at a 1979 c-10 2wd with the 250 inline 6. i think the guy said it has a 350 auto tranny,  how much headache is it to swap the 6 out for a v8?

It's easy, do you have a donor you'll be pulling a V8 out of?

It was pretty cut and dry for me, Out with the six, in with the 400, new motor mounts, fluids, and I only had about 4 wires to hook up.
