if its possible will it be hard and expensive or easy and inexpensive i can deal with the hard but the expensive is where it goes down south and me and some buddies will be swapping it we just are doing some research.

also trans from the dodge will go into the truck if it can forgot  to mention that

any info will help like how or what is involved

anything can be done i don't think money would be a problem its more just all the work you would have to fab up your own engine mounts and trans mount that should be about it along with a radiator not sure of mopars layout thats the only thing but whats wrong with yours? what about getting a engine from the junk yard?

Good choice! I just did 5 years. You must not be going for a while if your thinking about doing a swap. My truck sat for those 5 years.

Dude, you only have 8 months left at home. I think I'd try to find a junkyard chevy engine like Irish said or just stick it out in the D-koty. That engine swap is a lot of work and valuable time just to end up with something your still unhappy with. I say, load up the Old Dodge and go chase some girls!
