82 fuel pump?
« on: June 18, 2010, 07:24:11 pm »
I have a dumb question! I have a new high flow mechanical fuel pump with 2 lines to it. What is the correct way to change from the three line fuel pump to this type?? I will be removing the charcoal can! Can you just do away with the vapor return lines or what?! Please advise......

As in you have one line into the pump from the tank and one line out to the carb? You would take the vent hose from the fuel tank sending unit which goes to the steel line up along the frame and instead of to the charcoal can if you're removing it, mount it high on the radiator support and install a vent cap.
