Engine troubles. I filled up with gas last week and the fuel truck was filling the tank, most times I try not to but I did. But no problems till today the first time since the fill up and at first no problems about 1 or 2 miles down the road and I think i m feeling a miss then. Once I stop I know its a miss pulled. Into another gas station and tried screwing with the timing and it stalled just by turning the dis. About 1/4" each way. So I got it running again got to work and when I left this morning I knew I wasn't. Going to run right so I started messing with the carb turning the air fuel screws and idle screw its running better just not right still feel the miss. Since its been about a year or two since the last tune up I'm going to do that today and suggestions if this don't work

Well not sure what it was but its gone after replacing the plugs and tuning the carb again. Right after I changed the plugs it still didn't run right so I unplugged the pcv and the truck stalled, didn't rev up like it should so I tuned the timing and messed with the air fuel screws again now it seams to run right but while I'm at it I should change the cap and rotor

I feel your pain. Mine was running fine too, the best it has been in fact, until I got some gas a couple weeks ago and now it's running all funny. Cleaned the filter, that gas is long gone, played with the distro, and I'm getting inconsistent behavior!

Update LOL here we go. After swapping plugs I thought why not just change the cap and rotor. Well mistake it wouldn't get any fire. Checked and rechecked everything even chainged coils. Didn't know it but I had two bad coils so I got A new coil. Still no fire finally put old cap and rotor on and she fires right up. So I got a bad cap or rotor from autozone. But while I was messing with my cap and rotor I found a broken piece of plastic. It went to my Carb spacer, causing me to have a big vacuum leak and fuel leak that's what started my hole problem to begin with.
