Stepside Frame Lifting Points?
« on: July 06, 2010, 08:21:15 pm »
I don't have a manual for my 78 Stepside, does anyone have any documentation that shows the "official" frame lifting points for when I put my truck up on my 2 post?

Thanks,

Ron

Anywhere as far out to each end of the truck as you feel comfortable extending your arms, and they sit flat.
Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

Frame and rear spring hangers are the best points

OK so not anywhere, i figured frame or brackets attached to it would be a given!  ;D

These are not the best pics but hopefully they will help. The front ars are one a straight section of the frame. The rears are on the rear spring hangers like Vile said.
