Not sure if this the right place for this post, if not can someone please move it. I am getting new tail light lens and I cant decide if I should go with the chrome trim or not. Does anyone have pics they can post of their truck without the chrome trim so I can see what it will look like, thanks

Do your other marker lights have the chrome trim? I think the chrome looks best.

Definitely put the trim on, it just looks "complete" with them.

ok so let me tell you my plans, roll pan smoothed in, smooth tailgate skin w/handle relocator, shaved drip rails, 3/4 lowering kit, 235/70/15 front, 275/60/15 rear, rally rims 15x8 and 15x10, cowl hood. I am wanting a pro-street look, I dont want to shave the tail lights but wondering if the lights would look better without the chrome trim on the tail and side maker lights. I might shave the marker lights but not sure yet. I know my first question on this post was a little generic, I kinda think it looks clean without the trim, what do you guys think about it

no trim on the side either.
I tried the trim on the taillights and decided against it.
I wouldn't use it without tailgate trim.
I was going for a clean, less is more kind of look with my truck.
I also didnt paint the tailgate lettering, no emblems, trim or stake pockets.
I got rid of everything that wouldn't be obviously missing.
so i kept the side markers door handle tailgate handles etc. and only a 2/3 drop and 15" rims to give it a stock appearance while not completely stock. same approach with the interior.
btw my rims and tires are the same size as you plan for the rear.

What color you plan on painting your truck I would take that into consideration also

I plan on painting it a deep blue, my dash and door panels are done in black tweed, I am doing the carpet, int. trim and maybe the seat in black as well and painting the int. metal the same blue as the truck

i would think a tail light with out trim ring wouldn't stick out as much on that paint and it kind of blends in. i would go for that look if it was mine or black lens or something like that also
