What a difference!!  I like the look, and the old school oil filler in the intake.  I'm also not a fan of chrome, paint shows much more detail so your mill is aces with me.

Thanks, this truck is going to be a driver so chrome is low on the list for me

when i got it the front d44 was toast so I found a good Dana 60 to go with the GM14 bolt

The 60

And 14 Bolt primer only

Next step is to sand blast frame, rebuild the SM465 and NP205 and get the drivetrain done

Way awesome!

So, why does it look like your fan blades have uneven spacing?

All of the factory fans do.

Sorry its been a long time I did not like the frame I had so I found a '78 1 Ton frame to use. I sandblasted it epoxy primed and then painted it

Same thing with the steering gear. took it apart and rebuilt it, then fresh coat of paint. Had a problem with the K20 axle not fitting onto the K30 frame, the springs mount closer together on a 1 ton. nothing a grinder and welder cant fix. the worst part was it was all painted and ready to go in. I was able to get the 13" brakes from a k30 also.

Now everything is back together, I had to find new rear springs. otherwise everything went right in. now it is time for body work.
