Lifting With Diffrent Axles
« on: July 15, 2010, 09:51:52 am »
Well its time for me to lift my 1988 K5 Blazer but theres a problem.  I just want to do a 4" lift but I swapped the rear 10 bolt for a 14 bolt and my front 10 bolt for a dana 44.  I'm pretty sure that the dana 44 and 10 bolt are basically the same so I can get a normal 88 blazer front lift.  My question is where can I get a kit that only comes with the 4" lift for the front and where can I get a kit that only comes with 14 bolt 4" blocks?

If the parts would be different, most lift companies sell parts individually.

Should mount up the same.  if they are axle specific call whomever you are getting if from when you order.

so the 4" blocks for the 10 bolt are the same as the 4" blocks for the 14 bolt?  If they are that would be great...as for the u-bolts I can get those anywhere.

Yea it just dawned on me today...the reason I'm swaping the 14 bolt in is because the perches are exactly the same and I don't have to change anything but the u-bolts.  So of course the blocks are the same, duh.  Thanks guys
