Lookin' good, man.  I actually like the gold color.  Are you going w/o the side view mirrors for a clean, sleek appearance?  If you do have side mirrors, I vote for the small factory 'sport' mirrors rather than the large factory 'dumbo' mirrors.  Also, what brand of steering wheel is that?  Me likey...

Thanks a bunch guys. I am going with the small chrome mirrors, looking for a source on them if anyone knows. I don't know the brand on the steering wheel, (I'm at work I'll look when I get home) but it's Italian and I took it off a conversion van. I'm anxious to see color on it, but it has been high 90s here every day and sure slows an old man down. Thanks again for the compliments, you guys are keeping me inspired.

We've been getting your heat up here too. I've been working in the garage every night this week but can only stand a couple hours at a time.

Did you say in another thread you were keeping the gold color? I like it, and the engine compartment looks glorious.

Yes Grim I'm sure I mentioned it before, that I'm staying with the gold. Rusty that steering wheel is a Dino.

Update, The body is coming along pretty well. A friend showed up that is a paint and body guy. Man what a difference that makes having help and somebody who is good. I will take some more pics this weekend, probably lack a good ten or twelve hours before it's ready for primer. I did get the tailgate hardware cleaned up and ordered the wheel well moldings today. A lot of work, hope it turns out good.

Finally got the bodywork done and got some primer on the old truck. It looks pretty good. I'm going to drive it a little and then paint it when I can use my buddy's paint booth.

I used the Ultima 2K urethane primer. It worked good. Still have a lot of work to do, but it's getting there.

Got the flip kit installed today. Still have to tighten a few things up and put the driveshaft back in, but thought I'd push it out for a look and a pic.
