My son's first truck.(Proud Dad moment)

This is what he picked as his first truck. It's a 84' C-10 SWB Silverado, power everything, nearly new interior(need door panels and gauge bezel refaced), fiberglass cowl hood, 383 Stroker, Full roller motor(with new cold A/C), TCI turbo 350 trans. He'll be 16 next April, the 383 will be replaced with a milder 350(Hey, I gotta get something outta this deal, I'm paying for it!). Truck is in great shape, haven't found a single rust spot yet. It's a torque monster!

Thats freakin awesome!   My first truck couldnt hold a candle to that one!  Wanna Adopt another Kid?  I'll only be 30 in a month.... ;D

Uh, that's a negative on the adoption thing, sorry. Another car nut around this house will break me for sure. My 18 year old got my custom 98'  bagged GMC, his best friend is living with us and I've spent the last 2 month's helping him get his bagged S-10 on the road, now I just bought this truck for my 15 year old. Kinda hoping my 12 year old daughter wants something simple(and cheap).

LOL Classic! But smart!! He may develop an affinity for the ole square bodies now that he has it as his first vehicle. My first ride was an 81 Jimmy 2wd. And now I have my truck that I bought 10 years after I traded my Jimmy in. He'll love it!

I have a 75 Chevy and a 82 GMC that i'm making into one truck, It'll go in there I guess.

Just thought I'd share this with yall.

      My son's 84 Silverado made it into a country music video that will be airing on CMT and GAC after the first of the year. The artist is Glen Templeton and the song is "Country Boys For Life". They wanted that old square body as soon as they seen and heard it.
