i can't seem to figure out how to remove these:





They're Anco if that makes a difference.

Lift the little tab up over the nub on the arm and slide them off.

Yup, lift the black tab with the hole in it. Make sure the metal arm doesnt slam down on your glass.

If you ever need to take the metal arms off, there is a tiny tab on the underside you press/depress with a screwdriver and it pops off. Make sure your screwdriver is taped up to avoid scratching the paint.

Its the newer version of solar panels to keep his battery topped off.

No, that's just the sunshade that i got at the autoparts store;  It's specially sized for pickups/suv's etc.
