No start at work last week

Just figured I would share a little something from work.
Had a 2001 Chevy 2500 come in on the hook last week. Died driving down the road, wouldn't restart. Checked for fuel pump noise, had it. Checked for spark, had it. Ran the MODUS checked for codes, had no codes at all. Checked fuel pressure above 60 PSI. Took the cap off found it to be a little crusty, have seen much worse still run. Swapped in a new one anyway, she fired right up!! Threw in new plugs and wires too as they were the factory ones with almost 90,000 on them.
Sometimes its the smallest things!

You mean the oil needs to be changed often? Man, I guess I know what I'm doing tomorrow. And plugs supposed to be changed. Man, my work is cut out for me.
You gotta love the simple fixes, but, those all come with time and sperience. I would've been boggled on that for about a week.

I like the leakers and burners- just the filter every 3000.

All normal practicality and rational money handling goes out of the window when it comes to my truck.
