Need New Dash

Doh!   My interior guys bought a dash from   truck, and they said that the dash came with a sticker inside that it cannot be painted.  Unreal!  So they are shipping it back, but   doesn't carry any that can be painted anymore -- so I guess they figure all dashes from now until forever should be black (the only color they carry). WTH?

Anyhow, I need a source for a new dash for my '76 Chevy pickup -- so I came here first, but it says the catalog is offline until Aug 12.  Ugh!   Where else can I get a good replacement dash for my truck?

You should still be able to paint it. I dont know why it said not to. SEM paint is a favorite brand for interiors around here.

Thanks for the feedback.  We were trying to get a "soft-like-original" replacement dash instead of the coverlay, but may fall back on a coverlay if we can't source a good enough dash.

Call Cheyenne pickup.  I tried to add their supplier but haven't been able to find out if they make them or have them made.  They are the best aftermarket version of skinned pre 80 dashes.
