You could, but then it would be wrong since K10 was for earlier trucks. Just keep teasing people.

hey all well i replace my male plug to my iac but throttle is still stuck open wide. i read if you hold it above 35 it will reset the iac i did it's still stuck. should i just replace the iac itself? as always thanks for all and any future help ;)

Ok I know it's kinda dumb and all but what the heck is the difference in the v10 r10 compared to c10 and k10?

I get lost on that for sure.

Nice truck though BTW looks really solid.

The VIN coding is all that's different. 5th digit went from K to V and C to R.

well i replaced my iac and my tps but it still starts with a high rpm and levels out at about 3.5 to 4k rpm. i've check to vacuum lines but can't find any that are disconnected. does anyone have a thought what it might be

Try to start it with a sensor unpluged then move on to another sensor and do the same.

i had to charge the battery so it was disconnected for awhile.but i think that i will do what alley said and disconnect one at a time to see if i can narrow it down but just not now my son is using my car and it has my tools in it  :'(

yeah don't know what i was thinking u don't need tool to do that heheh. anyways i did the unplug thing and when through each one i did the iac the tps the map and i think its the ecm. each one ran the same way leveling out with a high rev i don't have a rpm unit but i would say it's holding at 3.5 to 4.5 rpm. i don't want it to run to long like that so the period that it's on is just a few secs. i put some pics with the sensors on it. thanks for the input guys.
