Heat/Sound insulation
« on: August 27, 2010, 05:08:18 am »
Hey guys im looking into heat and sound dampening materials and alot of the well known brands are just out of my price range. ive seen videos on the heat resistant and sound dampening capabilities of them and im really impressed. Im just wondering if i can achieve the same effects for a lower cost. Would it be worth it to fork out the cash for B-Quiet, Dynamt... or can i get a decent heat barrier/sound dampener somewhere else for less. honestly all those products look like is aluminum and rubber :P what do you guys use in your trucks?

Read the following link.  Use what you learn and buy the products on your own from lower cost vendors.
