carbarator spring
« on: September 09, 2010, 08:02:16 pm »
I am trying to re install my carb on my 305. I see that there is a spring where the throttle cable and kick down cable go. I have the spring but cant see to figure out how the spring is supposed to attach to make it spring loaded. Can someone post a pic. I think i miight be missing a bracket or something

You might have to McGyver something. I took a hose clamp to my upper rad hose and hooked it there.

What carb. is it ?  Most of the time one end mounts to the lever that the throttle cable is on, and the other is attached at the back of the carb. off another bracket.  If we know what carb. it is someone can post a pic I am sure....Tom

Can you see a model number?   650 is the cfms, which we don't care about at this point.
