Dang Blazin, THAT IS FREAKIN SWEET!  And the welds are so pretty, too!   Looks like alcohol was involved....

That looks like the kind of welds I make...   I'm not worth a crap at welding and I'm using an old 220V stick welder with whatever sticks happen to be left.

I am guilty of owning a Dodge..i admit it..its a 77 and well i felt sorry for it. once i got passed all the p.o's jerry rigs and failed attempts at body work..i thought i had found more. No come to find out that was factory.
Dodge always had stout drive trains,but the truck around them has always been junk.

The auto unions are the ones who killed the American Auto manufacturing..yet they still act as if they are the saviors of the economy "Wake up America"

I don't understand why more companies don't drug test more.  It should be required when it could possibly/indirectly affect someone else's safety.  I know a bunch of places down here don't or won't drug test.

I might of mentioned this before but it shows this has been going on for awhile

Back in 88 my boss' daughter bought a new camaro from day 1 when you made a left turn it would make a rattling noise (sounded like the heat shield on the cat) Chevy had that car 4 times they could find nothing wrong with it. She got hit at the drivers door and it took out part of the quarter body shop cut it off and inside was a beer can (bud ) with a not on it "Bet ya it took you a long time to find this" Gm got involved car was put back together and no more rattling . GM took the beer can (not sure what they did with it) but the gave her the car plus all the money she put down and the loan payments she made.

Btw what is wrong with those welds ? I think the paint did them justice

Same theory as painting over a joint..the paint woks as a second weld.

lol. To me welding is just like billiards; the more you drink the better you are. And that is why they call it aiming fluid.
It's when you can't remember if you're solids or stripes or what you were going to weld that it's time to call it a day.

Interesting story frogman.

My sister bought a Fiero in 1984.  She had it for a while and then it caught on fire, GM fixed it, a few months later, she pulled it out of her garage and went to close the door, it caught on fire again, GM "fixed" it.  A short while later she was on her way to work and sitting at the red light opposite of the dealership that fixed it she noticed smoke pouring out the back, she took a left and pulled straight into the service center lane, got out and told them this is yours as it was burning in their parking lot.

The ended up giving her a new Firebird.
