Corporate 14 bolt

My new toy has a 4.56 Gov-loc in it. I would like to change the gears out but retain the G-80 carrier. Question is what is the highest gear that will work for the carrier?

On your carrier 4.56-5.38 the other carrier is 4.10-3.23.

Thanks for the info, looks like I need another carrier if I want to go down in ratio.

I am leaning toward that way Vile since the TH400 is very loud in first and reverse, has a weird whirling noise that winds down going into park from reverse. I have to find a reputable shop to rebuild me one. My 1986 parts truck has a 700R4 in it however it probably needs to be updated. Long term it will see towing a 5th wheel camper.
