Recommended Torque Wrench?

Can anyone please give me an idea of which torque wrench is best - ft/lbs range? 1/2 in or 3/4 in?  thanks.

20-220lb-ft is good for general purposes

3/4" ratchet is a big boy.  Don't you mean 3/8" versus 1/2" ?   I have a 3/8" torque ratchet and 1/2" drive torque ratchet.   I have a 3/4" ratchet set but that is for big major jobs.

It depends on your jobs what size.   Most just have a 1/2" drive ratchet torque with a 3/8" adapter I would guess. Covers most all bases.

yes, I meant 3/8" vs 1/2". thanks for the info, now where is best to get one, Car parts or sears? which brand do you guys have?

Craftsman from Sears or Kmart (Sears owns kmart and sells their stuff there now)...all the way!   Unlimited warranty.
