Torque Converter

Well, why dont I listen? I got a crate motor from jegs and a new trans and a converter. They told me with my cam, I would need a converter to stall at 2200 rpm. Of course I bought a 2300-2700 now the motor is a beast in neutral, but in drive it barely spins the tires and seems to be bogged down or not transferring power. I know nothing about trans or converters... would there be that much difference by raising the stall? I know its probably my fault...

It doesn't sound like the converter is your issue. More details please. Tell us about the engine, your iginition system, timing, transmission, gearing etc.

That much more of a stall won't be an issue, like Vile stated, more info.
